The website is develop by Digi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd., DBA digi, is a mobile service provider in Malaysia.

On 24 May 1995 Digi became the first telco in Malaysia to launch and operate a fully digital cellular network. They were also the first to offer GPRS (2.5G) and later EDGE (2.75G) in Malaysia on 14 May 2004. DiGi primarily uses the 1800 MHz band for GSM with the network code of 502-16.
Digi is listed on the Bursa Malaysia under the Infrastructure category.
It uses the native dialling prefix identifier of "010", "016", "0143", "0146" and "0149", although with the implementation of mobile number portability mandated by the Malaysian government this does not apply to subscribers who switched from their old mobile service provider over to Digi. At the moment, switching to DiGi is free.

The website persuade customer by promoting the latest services they provide to the new member. For now Digi promote the new plan and the benefit of the plan at the first page of the website.

The company welcomes product created by consumers to sell to consumers, it a new trend or we can call it a strategies in business.

With the use of information that they get, Apple determine what product the company should sell, who will get the benefit of the product and what the advantage and the disadvantage in the sale of the product.

Apple take a chance with capitalizing on the iPod. When there so many iPod user, many people are finding way to presume the product. Apple give a commitment for space shelf in its retail stores which is how they support the iPod economy. With the iPod dominate the market, Apple develop a accessories such as socks set in six colors: green, purple, blue, orange, pink and gray and also a digital camera connector. The price set by the Apple on the product is affordable to customer. Apple created product that is attract people behavior in purchase a colorful accessories for their iPod and develop another component that can be add on the iPod.

There is another way how Apple achieved business success which is the company capitalizing on the iPhone. Apple the that iPhone has many advantage and benefit to the company. Apple realize that the iPhone is not just for make a call, so they let outsider create a software for the iPhone. And the result is magnificent when more than 10,000 application had been created. This is the reason why information technology is benefit the business world by enable a company or organization to work more efficiently and to maximize the productivity. The Apple use the iPhone user or other company to create a software so it can maximize the productivity of application. Now, iPhone apps are available for iPad. This mean that the market of the iPhone and iPad become larger than other smartphone market.


Capitalizing in the iPad is one of the way Apple achieved business success. Apple release a product call iPad, Apple created the iPad that has similar function as iPhone, lightweight, portable and is a tablet computer. The iPad  is design with an exposed screen and without a camera, separate keyboard and memory card slot. It has say that iPad is built for accessories. Apple know that many owner will modify it with their own creativity. Apple created accessories that suitable for the iPad such as iPad wireless keyboard, iPad Antique book case cover and iPad screen protector. Apple make a product that less expensive and affordable for people to buy the product.

2. Describe the type of information employees at Apple store require and compare it to the type of information the executives at Apple's corporate headquarters require.

The types of information employees at the Apple store require is the product a customer's returns to them, they must know how the item arrived to the customer at that condition and ways they can fix it in an reasonable time. Then the customer satisfaction will increase when the issues has been solve. Types of information the executive at Apple corporate headquarters require is to know how the product is made. I don't think there is a link because the employee at the Apples store only concern is customer satisfaction as the headquarters is the sale because without the customers there no money which is there no business and the employees need to be trained well enough.

The information culture that would have the greatest negative impact on Apple's operation would be informational-functional culture because for example in sale if Apple depends on only one person in marketing to gain information and the person get sick on a presentation day then it will make the company worst. This lead to a delay in a product. Also in the example of marketing the sales manager would always need to be present in new strategy that developed. So if no one knows what new in the product it would have a negative impact on Apple operation.
